"Soon," I replied while moving my body to straddle his waist. "However, I really don't care." My kisses got desperate and feral. He must have sensed what I was feeling because he gripped my back tighter with one hand and with the other he lifted my shirt over my head.
He stopped when his fingers rested on my bra. “Are you sure? We don’t have to do this right now.”
I nod and help him slip off my shirt.
Once my shirt was off, I wanted to take his shirt off too. By tongue kissing him, I unbuttoned his shirt and then slipped it off slowly with both hands. Once his shirt was off, I broke our kiss to lick down his chest. I circled his nipple and he gathered my hair into a fist. My tongue spun around his chest and my lips laid light kisses before my tongue went to that inch of flesh.
Slowly, he pushed me off of him and onto the floor. Before coming to me, Vincent opened the door to let Cherub out. Which Cherub went trotting out without even looking back at me. The door started to close on it’s own as Vincent readied himself on me. As he ascended on top of me, he grazed my thighs with his hand and with his other hand, he undid my pants.
He took them down and licked my leg all the way up until it v'd to my sex. I moaned loudly as he licked over the lace of my thong and he slowly pushed them aside. Vincent took the lace rimmed underwear down with his teeth and on his way back he rubbed my legs up. My breathing got heavier as his fingers set my skin ablaze.
I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of him touching me so sensual and so passionate, that it shocked me when his finger slid into me and his tongue followed. His tongue twirled and spun over my clit and I felt a fire in my sex.
"Baby, you taste so good. I just love the way you respond to me," my back arched and I felt like I was going to fall apart at what he was saying.
"Please... Please don't stop. Vincent... Oh shit!" My clit became tighter and I felt my sex convulse around his fingers.
My moaning got louder as he went faster and harder with his tongue and finger. I felt as if I were going to collapse over how much pleasure I was getting. With a quick flick of his tongue, my legs shook and back spasmed. His lips latched on to my clit and he suckled hard. When I started to close my legs around his head, he stopped.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he traveled up my core to suck on my neck. "Did I hurt you?"
My eyes were closed but I knew the face he was giving me. He was giving me a "I care for you" look.
"I am more than fine. Come on, don't make me beg," I whined as he pushed his zipper down right in between my thighs. "Tell me." My breath was strong and heavy as I tried to calm myself from the orgasm that I just had.
He slowly pushed himself into me and I climaxed again while shaking under him. Vincent moved with an expert pace and held onto my hips as he did this. I pulled his chin down to me in order for him to get closer. I wanted to feel him all around me. This felt so amazing.
"I love you, you are my world," he whispered against my neck as he lifted my legs over his shoulders. "Mm, baby you feel so good. So tight all around me."
There was a knock in the closet door and I hissed at it. Before we could ask who it was, Sammy appeared in the doorway. The six foot four man and stocky build filled the door.
"Do you need some help with that, Moretti?" My body was twisted so I could look up at the door but I was still covered by Vincent. He asked while pointing to me on the floor. I must have looked insane. My hair was all over the floor and skin was red. "Call me crazy but a woman as beautiful as she should be taken on the bed and not the closet floor." Sammy didn't say anything for a minute and my face burned as Vincent grew soft in me.
"Fuck off, Kroslio." Vincent pushed off of me with a growl leaving me naked.
I tried grabbing for something to cover myself. There was no way I was going to be able to get through this estate attorney meeting knowing that my lawyer just seen me naked. He watched me as I pulled a shirt on top of me and I smiled at him.
"Don't make me tell Valerie that you were checking me out," I hissed and shooed him out the door. I considered flipping over so I had my front covered, but my ass is rather large. My husband threw a long tee at my body to cover me.
"Seriously, guys, I don't want to be late."
Vincent and I both got dressed in silence but before we left the closet, he pushed me against the closed door.
"There are no words to describe how beautiful you are. I love everything about you and I promise that you won't ever have to wonder how I feel about you."
I circled my arms around his neck and pulled his head to mine. "I feel the same way about you. There is nothing that I wouldn't do in order for you to feel how much I feel for you."
Sammy yelled from the room and banged on the door. "Mother fucking newlyweds. Just wait until the honeymoon phase is over."
Vincent swung open the door and punched Sammy in the arm. "Dude, you know how to ruin a moment."
I looped my arm through Vincent's crook of an elbow and walked out of the room with him.
"So, did our little guy get you off?" Leo called from the great room.
Oh my fucking...! Does everyone know? Was I moaning that loudly? It’s time to play along especially if I’m going to be around them for the rest of my life. I can’t let them know that they intimidate me. "There is nothing little about my husband. And yes, he did." Leo's face turned red and I laughed. "See you all later," I pointed at Anne before I let Vincent lead me to the door. "Meet me at the office in two hours? I found the perfect paint color."
“All right. Let me know when you are on your way there. Ronnie and I are going to pick up stuff for the nursery.”
I fought the slight twinge of jealousy. I’m envious of the both of them. Normally, I’m the one that gets to do all of this with Anne but it’s Ronnie baby.
With a fake smile, I turn around and look at her: “Let me know how it goes! I’m dying to spoil that baby!”
Whether Anne could tell that I was faking it or not, she didn’t say anything nor did she hint that she did. “Okay, Vans. Love you.”
Realizing that I’m being a selfish asshole, I go running towards her and wrap my arms around her. “I love you.” I place my hand on the slight bump and rub. “I love you too, Peanut.”
Vincent led me to the door and once we got to the opening, I dropped my hold on his elbow and pursed my lips at him. "Can you come too?"
"Of course, where else would I be? Did you want to take the BMW?" I nodded enthusiastically.
"Sammy, you can sit in front and I will sit in the back if that works." The car isn’t large and he’s a large man. It would be rude if I made him sit in the back.
"Sure thing, Mrs. Moretti." That cheesy smile that probably charmed his beautiful wife, Valerie, spread across his face.
Valerie is a nurse who works a lot but I know that she loves Sammy. You can see it all over her face when she looks at him. I love watching the two of the interact together like they need the other to survive.
I gushed a smile at him and then opened the door to sit in the back.

I have met the estate attorney before. A long time ago after my first wedding, Joel and I went to see him to discuss assets and who will get what of ours. We did this shortly after I lost the baby and I remember sitting in a chair close to the window crying because I didn't want to think about what it would have been like if Joel were to be dead. Now he is dead... And I don’t feel a thing. Numb isn't a word to describe it. I think I had long ago came to peace with my relationship with Joel.
Ken Tucker's office was located in the same building as it was before. I climbed out of the car behind Sammy and he extended his hand to help me out. I placed mine in his and he helped lift me out.
Vincent caught up to me as I walked to the door to get into the building and put his arm around my waist.
"You don't have to do this," he whispered against my ear and I shivered.
"Yes, I do. Its important. Are you sure you want to be here?" I stopped in the middle of
the doorway and Sammy bumped into me and growled. "Neither of you need to be here. Joel's family is going to be here. It’s going to get weird."
Sammy pushes me aside and walks into the office. "Will you shut up already."
Vincent held my hand as we walked to the elevator to the fifth floor. Once we were off the elevator, I remembered where his office was and led them to it. I only knocked on the door once and Ken answered it.
He’s a stout man with a balding head. I could tell that he has aged dramatically since I last saw him but that was years ago. Ken had put on some weight over the years and his face looks tired and exhausted. "Savannah, what a pleasure. You look great," he gently hugged me and I didn't drop Vincent's hand.
"Ken, this is my husband, Vincent, and this is my lawyer-"
"Sam Kroslio. I didn't know you represented her. Nice to see you again. Come on, let's get this meeting going."
Sammy, or should I say Sam, shakes Ken’s hand and then they make small talk for a few seconds. Mostly about a previous case that they were both on together. Or some shit. To be honest, I zoned out and all I wanted to do was get this shit over with.
We all sat at a table and I watched as Joel's family entered the room and took seats on the other side. This scene is giving me extreme flashback from my divorce meetings. I smiled at his family and they gave me a weak smile. However, when Keith looked at me and then at Vincent, he dropped his head. How strange.
"The will was set to be left to Savannah. All of his possessions and his money has been left to you, Savannah. We spoke after your divorce and he said he still wanted you to have it."
Joel's mother jumped from the table and pointed at me. "But they got divorced! She shouldn’t have been left anything!"
"I completely agree. I don't know why I am here. What money are we talking about?" I never knew that Joel had money much less enough money to stash from me.
"Two million dollars. The money is in a safe deposit box in the back of my office."
Now it was my turn to jump out of my seat. "Are you fucking with me?" I lost all calmness. Now I was mad. I was hurt. He kept so many things from me. "He just continually lies to me! Even when he is dead, he is still a step ahead of me!" I started to scream at Ken and then looked at Joel's family. "I don't want it. You guys do what you want with it. This is insane. Was I even legally married to him? Was everything a lie?" I picked up my purse and went to walk out the door but Keith spoke.
"Everything wasn't a lie. He just didn't want you to know he had money."
"Well, now you guys have the money! Do I need to sign something?" Sammy and Vincent were looking at each other and Vincent shook his head.
Ken produced a document that signed my share over to the family, and once I signed it I left the room. Once in the hallway, my fingers clenched and my breathing got heavy. Joel lied to me. He stole from me. He cheated on me. He tried to kill me. Why am I giving him power now by being angry with him? I didn't have an answer.
I was happy that no one followed me into the hallway. I needed to think about this. As I paced the hall outside of Ken’s office, I thought about everything in the past. It’s crazy for me to think that he had money like this. About what was real and fake. Joel had money but yet made me feel guilty for buying a coffee.
There were so many fights about money. The money that I spent on groceries when to Joel they should have been cheaper. Or the money that I needed to go to college. The money that was needed to bury our baby. That was the biggest fight of them all.
We had been arguing for two days straight. For two whole days we have been straight up fighting about burying my baby. I have come to terms that she was going to be mine and mine alone so I think of her as mine.
Joel is sprawled out on the couch with a tumbler full of brown liquor and he has a frustrated look on his face. “We can’t afford to have a plot for a baby that didn’t live.”
I yelled and I screamed for about two minutes before I came charging at him. He didn’t see me coming but when my fist hit his head, he turned to look at me. “No, you don’t get to take this away from me. She was my baby. My baby that was growing inside of me. If I want to bury her, I will. And you are going to be okay with it.”
He shot out of his spot so fast that the couch flew back a few feet. “You don’t get to boss me around, wife. I am your fucking husband. I’m the one that is paying these god damned bills. You don’t make shit for money.”
I could feel his breath as it washed over my skin but I stood tall. “No. We are burying her because that is what we are supposed to do.”
“Fine! Spend all of your fucking money burying a baby that didn’t survive. You are a stupid whore.”
The door slammed shut and I knew he had left. I crumbled to the floor and covered my face with my hands. I hate how he makes me feel like I’m the bad person for wanting to do this.
I made up my mind before I talked to him about getting a burial plot for my baby.
I knew what I needed to do and walked back into the office with confidence and my head held high. He was not going to win this.
"Since, the money was left to me and legally I have six months to turn it down, I have decided what we are going to do with it." I pointed at Joel's family... a family I once considered my own and now they look like strangers. "I want to donate half of it to a woman's shelter and the other half is up to you."
"How did you know about the time clause?" Sammy asked me.
"Because I am the one to come up with it. This whole will was his idea but he couldn't think of anything."
Ken handed me an envelope and I opened it to see a check in there. That was a check from Joel. The man who lies and cheats. I was ready to leave as I received the check. There wasn't anything else to discuss. What more is there to talk about? Absolutely nothing and I can’t wait to get out of here.
Joel's father came over to me and hugged me. "Don't forget you have to clean his stuff out," that is what he said to me.
There’s a disgusting feeling in the pit of my stomach that he’s only being nice to me because I gave him half. "Fine, you guys should come too in case you want something."
Vincent and Sammy stood up at the same time and walked out the door in silence. We all watched them. It was hard to not.
"Okay, we can meet in a few hours. We should all eat," Keith replied and left the room to follow Vincent.
"Hey, man! Wait up!" Keith was yelling down the hallway and now was trying to catch up with Vincent. As Vincent turned to give Keith a look, I noticed that he wasn't happy about this. "You know, I don’t know you at all. However, I think it is crazy that you came to discuss my brother's will with his family and his ex wife. Why would you come here?" Keith got really close to Vincent and I ran after them.
"Keith, I know you are upset! You also knew that I got remarried. Don't take it out on Vincent because your brother died." I stood in between them and Vincent grabbed onto my sensitive hip tightly enough for me to feel the dominance that he is projecting.
"Keith, when are you going to realize that I don't care what you say or do to me. I am only here because of her. So get over yourself.”
Vincent
Am I bad person that I insisted that Savannah went with his family to clean out their old penthouse? Less than a few months ago, Savannah lived there again and I couldn’t bring myself to go there as well.
So, why am I here? You ask? Yeah, I wonder that too.
I am here because Joel’s family is trying to act as if it’s Savannah’s fault that Joel died. Little do they know that I am the one that killed that fucking bastard. I would do it again if needed. Fuck, I’m about to whack Keith. He’s been staring at my girl’s ass all afternoon.
Deciding that I have had enough of this, I stand behind her and place my hands on her hips. “How much longer do you think we will be here for?”
I had asked a few times if there was something I could do in order to help, but they told me no. Which, I understand. If I fucked up so badly with
Savannah and her new husband were here cleaning out my shit, I wouldn’t want him touching my shit.
We are in the guest room and I could see a couple of her old things still in the closet. “You know, there is no law that says you need to be here. You did what you needed. Come on, baby. Let’s go home. Let them deal with it.”
I look down at her and see that tears have coated her eyes and she blinks a few times. “I don’t know why I am so upset. I fucking hate him.”
I fold her body into my arms and I hold her as tightly as I can. “You are upset because you have a heart. Baby doll, it’s okay. Let’s finish in here and then we can leave.”
